Micro-blading

Micro-blading is an extremely popular service that provides a semi-permanent technique to enhance your brows with fine, natural looking hair strokes. Giving you the brows of your dreams! …Yet you will get to wake up with them everyday! The results can last up to a year or more depending on your skin type & daily routine.

***This procedure should only be done by an advanced trained professional.

Micro-Shading “Powder” Brow

The shaded/powder brow is one of the most sought after techniques currently on the market, as its suitable for every skin type and every age group. This technique tends to last longer than mirco-blading, but will heal to a soft and powdery brow. *Great for oiler skin types and or if you tend to wear makeup daily. And as all Permanent Makeup should, provides a natural effect to enhance natural beauty.

Ombré/Combo Brow

The ombre brow is one of the most sought after techniques currently on the market, as its suitable for every skin type and every age group. This technique is a beautiful combination of natural looking hair strokes in the front, or a softer, faded out, micro-shade that gets darker towards the tail with more shading for definition.

Microblading Q & A

What is Microblading?
Mircoblading is an implantation of pigment into the epidermis (upper layer of the skin) using an angled group of needles.

Is Micrblading a tattoo?
Microblading could be considered a tattoo, however, the main difference between a tattoo and microblading are

  1. a) microblading uses pigment and a tattoo uses ink.
  2. b) microblading goes into the epidermis and a tattoo goes deeper into the dermis, which causes it to be permanent.

Does it hurt?
Yes and no. Some people say they feel “scratches” on the skin but don’t really find it unbearable. It really depends on your pain threshold.

What kind of numbing do you use?
By law I am only allowed to use 4% Lidocaine numbing gel. I also use liquid anaesthesia once we open the skin and throughout the procedure 🙂

How long does it last?
The initial session is what I like to call the “foundation” session. This session is almost like a spot test, for us to see how your skin reacts to the pigment, how well it is retained, and how the colour heals on your skin. The second session is the “perfecting” session. This is really where you will see the complete look. Using before and afters for your file we can complete the look. We can adjust depth, needle types, pigment darkness and stroke technique in order to successfully achieve the look you desire

What if it doesn’t last?
Unfortunately we are unable to promise any results and are unable to determine how your skin will take pigments. If the pigment doesn’t last on your skin, there are other techniques that may work better such as “Ombre” technique. Also known as a shading or shadow technique. This gives the illusion of filled in brows vs. the natural stroke look of Microblading.

How often do I need a touch-up?
On average, touch-ups are needed every 6-18 months depending on skin type, age, etc. If you bleed a lot during the procedure, you will be at higher risk for fading. Your aftercare also plays a big role in how you heal and how long your brows will last. Ultimately you are your biggest judge when it comes to how many touch-ups you desire.

How long does the process takes?
A typical session is about 2 hours. Depending on each person and how much work your brows need

What can I expect in the healing process?
Immediately after the procedure some clients experience slight swelling and redness in and around the procedure area. The pigment inside your brows will appear much darker than what your healed outcome will be. Healing time can be anywhere from 7-14 days depending on your skin type. You can expect some slight flaking and mild itching from your healing brows but rest assured, it is very normal. You will be given a full after care packet with instructions on how to care for your new beautiful brows 🙂
